The cold airstreams, from the valleys of the rivers Una and Vrbas, come from the north while warm airstreams blow from the south. Therefore, this area has a moderate-continental climate with the particular impact of Mediterranean and Pannonian climates, combined with a lesser influence of the Alps climate. Such a mixture defines this area as exceptionally attractive for all kinds of tourism.

Due to its favorable position and moderate continental climate, this place is ideal for maintaining good health and fitness.

A modern ski trail, 8 hundred meters long, with all the facilities and ski lift, is very close to the hotel.

There are many mountain activities to suit everyone's needs – young and old, professional sportsmen and those who just want to have fun. The ski trails are adjusted to all ages.

The center of cultural life in this area is the Memorial Complex on Mrakovica. This impressive monument was built here in honour of soldiers who lost their lives during World War II.

Apart from its historical content, this place has a rich natural, cultural and archaeological heritage, and special attention is paid to the development of hunting tourism.
